Nonetheless, our experience in the field in Africa or other developing countries is that the technology locally available isn't optimal: poor quality, weak parts, and curiously because that's what THEY NEED the most, limited loading capacity. The Mundo Utility Bike is designed to promote affordable, scaleable transportation for cargo and people, particularly for developing parts of the world that rely heavily on human-powered mobility in rugged conditions.
